Meet Tony Reid

Founder & Principal Advisor

Tony Reid is an experienced commercial leader with an engineering background and over two decades working at the intersection of technology, innovation, and high-performance environments.

His leadership style was shaped early on through competitive sailing, where strategy, teamwork, and composure under pressure were essential. These experiences laid the foundation for leading diverse teams and navigating complex, fast-moving environments with clarity and confidence.

After moving from sport into technology, Tony founded and grew a tech start-up, gaining first-hand experience in market entry, technical credibility, investment, and operational growth. He went on to serve as Commercial Director at IAAPS, helping to manage risk, lead business development, and forge strategic partnerships in advanced engineering and sustainable mobility. He also played a key role in the UK’s innovation ecosystem, where industry and academia collaborate to accelerate breakthrough technologies.

Combining strategic vision, commercial insight, and ecosystem expertise, Tony is known for his collaborative, people-centred approach. He brings energy, focus, and thoughtful leadership to every partnership — helping turn ambition into meaningful impact in emerging technologies.
